Samsung Launches WiBro Terminal with OFDMA Technology

Samsung has successfully developed the first WiBro terminal adopting OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Modulation/Multiplexing Access) technology. Intending to compete for the mobile communication market, Samsung plans to roll out the WiBro terminal with the commercial offering of WiBro service in April 2006. Besides WiBro, Samsung is also trying to introduce OFDMA technology into 3G terminals and equipment.
